Nocturnal Adoration Society
Nocturnal Adoration will be held this month on Saturday, May 4, 2019. It will begin at the conclusion of the 5:00 PM Mass and end with Benediction at 9:00PM. Come and spend one hour with the Lord
Everyone is welcome to join in this vigil of prayer before the Blessed Sacrament.
Parish-wide Spiritual Adoption Baby Shower
At all the Masses on Saturday,
May 11th and Sunday May 12th
Help welcome our spiritually adopted babies due in June—nine months from the start of this program.
Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court Queen of Angels will be hosting a baby shower in conjunction with our Spiritual Adoption program. All donations will benefit the Life Center of Long Island and Birthright, to assist mothers in need.
Items most needed: formula (Enfamil Regular and Similac Advance), jarred baby food, boxed baby cereals, diapers, baby wipes, Desitin, baby shampoo, diaper bags, and clothing for infant sizes and up to size 4T.
Please bring unwrapped gifts to Mass and place them on the altar. Monetary donations (checks payable to “Catholic Daughters”) are also welcome.

St. Ignatius Loyola Golf Classic
The weekend of May 18/19, members of the Golf Committee will be outside the church after all the Masses selling early bird raffle tickets for a chance to win three cash prizes of $250.00, $150.00 and $100.00. The cost is $10 per ticket, 3 tickets for $20 and 6 tickets for $30. You do not need to be present to win. All proceeds from the Golf Classic go to the support of our Parish.

Free Lecture: A Woman in Love With God: The Lie and Spirituality of Catherine Doherty

Join Rev. Donald Guglielmi for an overview of the very fascinating life of Catherine Doherty, foundress of Madonna House (she was a contemporary of Dorothy Day’s, and a regular correspondent with Thomas Merton). We will also hear what we can learn from her unique type of “spiritual motherhood.”

Where: Sears Parking Lot
Parade will begin at 9 a.m. and will proceed down Broadway, turn onto Old Country Road and end at the Hicksville Middle School.
