The Extra Ordinary Ministers of the Eucharist, are the extended hands of the priest, as they help in distributing the Holy Communion reverently to the faithful during Mass, and those who are sick at home. They show the greatest reverence for the Most Holy Eucharist by their demeanor, their attire, and the manner in which they handle the consecrated bread. In these challenging times, though we had to  discontinue them for a while, they are back as situations are getting back to normalcy with the availability of  vaccines, and I welcome them back .
