The Saint Anne’s Prayer Group begins its 10th year as a group of  believers who come together each week to draw strength through prayer and forming bonds of friendship. Through Mary’s prayer, the Rosary, we take many needed prayers of our own, those of family members and friends, to Our Blessed Mother. As a group, we pray for those who ask for healing, in light of illnesses and addictions. We pray for the souls who have gone before us and for an increase in vocations. No evening is complete without prayers of thanks for the blessings bestowed on us. We have seen the power of Mary’s intercession when we ask for graces for ourselves, our families, our religious, and our friends. Sometimes the things we hear and read about in our world can affect our faith in a negative way. On the other hand, we also hear about good things, and good people. It is then that our faith is drawn to the positive side. This group of women feels the compassion of God in our daily struggles. We express our gratitude by attending this hour long prayer group to nourish and increase our faith. It seems that as our faith grows, so does our desire to bring God’s presence to our families, friends, and communities.

We invite all mothers of faith, regardless of age, to "Come & See." We meet Monday evenings (except holidays) at 7:30 PM in front of the Adoration Chapel. You need not attend on a weekly basis, as we recognize the many commitments before us. The doors are always open to come and pray at any time. For further information, please feel free to contact Maria Pitonza (516) 770-6444 or Suzanne McCartney (516) 653-1634, or fill out the form below.
