St. Ignatius Knight's of Columbus is an organization of Catholic Gentlemen who service the St. Ignatius Church and the greater Hicksville community.
We meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month at 8 p.m. All male parishioners are welcome to join. Being part of an organization that fills our hearts and our minds with the joy of giving to others and the feeling that comes with it makes a big difference. Knights are Catholic men, 18 years of age and older, who are committed to making their community a better place, while supporting their Church. Being a Knight is more than camaraderie; it is being involved with your community; it is supporting your local Catholic Church while enhancing your own faith and protecting life in all its forms. I am grateful for their ministry at St. Ignatius of Loyola and other parishes. Many of our Ushers are Knights and actively involved with our faith and charitable activities. They are closely associated with Human Service and fundraising projects and especially sponsoring Christmas and Easter baskets for the needy.
I am proud of being a Furth-Degree Knight and the Chaplain of Joseph Barry Council #2520. I appreciate the good work of the Knights especially,Grand Knight – Joseph M. Del Priore, SK, Deputy Grand Knight – John Manzi, SK, Chancellor – James Kershow, Recorder – Randolph Mittasch, Treasurer – William Artuso, Advocate – Michael Dantuono, SK, PGK, Warden – Dominick Sala, SK, Inside Guard – John Lampasona, Outside Guard – John Flanagan, SK, Outside Guard – Nicholas Brigandi, Field Agent – Kevin Lynch, Lecturer – Brian Dunker, SK, Financial Secretary – Donald Cleary Jr., Trustee 3 Years – Open Office, Trustee 2 Years – Arthur Traylor, SK, PGK, Trustee 1 Year – Walter Duffy, SK, PGK.
