Parents: Register for email alerts for your child's classes and keep up to date on announcements, upcoming events, homework assignments, and other class information. Click Parent Registration button on the left and follow directions. Plese note: If you registered for this last school year you will need to update your account for the new school year.

Please remember to check the e-mail address you provided to us at the beginning of the school year on a regular basis. This is the primary means of communication between home and school. It saves both time and money -- the cost of paper has increased significantly in recent months. Stay informed by checking your e-mails everyday! Thanks!

ANNOUNCEMENTS

"MOMMY & ME PROGRAM" - St. Ignatius Loyola School offers a program for two-year-olds and their parents/caregivers. The program includes arts and crafts, songs, free play time and socialization. Children develop social skills without experiencing separation anxiety. Adults socialize and discuss their common parenting concerns in a relaxed atmosphere.

The program meets on Thursdays from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. and each child must be accompanied by an adult. Sessions last 10 weeks and the cost is $180. Next session begins September 23rd.

New York State Test Results: We are proud to announce the following results from the November, 2009 5th Grade Social Studies assessment:

Percentage of students who exceeded State standards: 100%

Uniform Swap
Please note that a list of available uniforms has been posted in the PA section of the School website. If you are in need of any uniform items, please email the PA (parent.association@stignatiushicksville.org) with your contact information and the items and sizes you would like. If you can donate uniforms, please bring them to the school office or to the PA meeting.
